Christine-
First off- I cannot say enough to either of you about how beautiful our wedding was thanks to your hard work. Everything from start to finish was so wonderfully handled. Thank you for always being so quick to respond to my numerous questions and always being there with great advice. Honestly, we never felt like just another wedding. Your care, attention to detail, and experience made us feel like our wedding was important to you. I spent a lot of time on the details (as you know :-P ) and your team took what I had imagined and made it a million times more incredible. I haven't stopped hearing from our guests how wonderful everything was- the details, the ballroom, the staff, and the food. Additionally, Robyn and the front desk team did an incredible job. Robyn worked so hard to help us set up our room block and work out easy ways for Greg and I to get ready on the wedding day. This attention to our wants, needs and dreams made the planning so much easier. Thank you for everything.
Again- for everything- thank you. We feel blessed to be starting our marriage on such a wonderful note.

Good morning Karen...thanks for your e-mail...and thanks so much for your hospitality and professionalism...I agree with Mindy 100%! I have been involved in political fundraising and event planning for over twenty (20) years and I can honestly say that you and your staff are among the best I have ever dealt with in this business!
Charlie & Lauren Baker, Senator Tisei, The Baker Committee staff and most importantly our guests were thoroughly impressed with the Hawthorne Hotel and the gracious hosts - your ace team! Thank you for being such an important part of our team!
The Hawthorne Hotel was indeed the perfect venue for our "Big Baker Bash" and we'll never forget that special evening in Salem! Thanks again. I look forward to seeing you again soon, Karen.
Sincerely,
Ed Palleschi

Hi Juli and Claire,
I want to thank you and your staff for the wonderful job that was done for the D'Angelo/Monk wedding on Friday night. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the greeting of the wedding party at the front door on arrival through the buffet breakfast yesterday morning, every little detail was attended to, the food was superb, the service was personal, eloquent, gracious and by far the best most of the guests have ever seen. (I say most because I see you folks operate daily, therefore am accustomed to the best). I know that the hosts of the event, Joe and Kathy D'Angelo were extremely pleased and that our kids have the memory of a lifetime. Kristina, my new daughter-in-law attended several of her friend's weddings at the Hawthorne over the years and has had her heart set on a wedding the hotel long before she and my son met. So there were two of us (at least) in attendance who weren't surprised by the amazing job you all did.
Please pass along my thanks and deep appreciation to anyone on your staff that I did not have a chance to see, especially Chef Steve. I am proud to be able to work with such a high caliber group of professionals.
Again my heartfelt thanks to all,
Bob

Subject: Aubrey's Bridal Shower - Sat Nov 7th
Hello Ladies,
I wanted to drop you both a quick note and say THANK YOU for a wonderful event on Saturday. Everything went off flawlessly - the room looked beautiful, the buffet was exceptional and the bride to be was absolutely thrilled. Every detail was wonderful and I received so many compliments on the luncheon. I especially wanted to thank Claire and Cheryl - Claire answered every question I had and Cheryl (the banquet captain) was such a pleasure to work with. She was just lovely throughout the day. In fact once Aubrey met her, we asked if she could be available the night of the wedding - she is such an asset to your staff and I wanted to be sure that this was passed on to her!
When we originally booked the shower, we mentioned to Christine Turner, that Aubrey would be wearing her "Nana's" wedding suit the day of the shower. Christine mentioned that I should send her a picture so that you could place it on your blog. So I am enclosing a picture of them both from the shower. Nana was so thrilled to see her granddaughter wearing her wedding suit - 63 years later at her bridal shower. And what makes it even more special is that the upcoming wedding - Feb 6th, 2010 at the Hawthorne will also be an extra special day - it is Nana's 90th birthday. Hope parts of this thank you and the enclosed picture will find a place on your blog - we will keep watching for it.
Again, my sincere thank you and the to the staff that made this day so special for my daughter.
Regards,
Mary Jordan

Robyn,
I completed the evaluation but wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our dinner at the Hawthorne. It was a wonderful evening and the planning was simple and efficient -- especially appreciated since we were doing it long distance.
I wanted to pay a special compliment to the wait staff, bartender and, most especially, Claire Marie. The service was exceptional and Claire Marie attended to every detail. Several guests commented on how good the service was.
Please let everyone know how much we appreciate their help in making the event such a special one!
