Chris Rudel visits the Hawthorne Hotel to perform in Nathaniel’s Restaurant.
The second leg of Chris Rudel’s Lost In Paradise Tour is set to launch January 4, 2020 at Nathaniel’s at historic Hawthorne Hotel. The next stop for the singer-songwriter finds him commanding a grand piano for an experience that offers greater intimacy on a larger scale. Balancing a handful of original songs with interpretations of classics from artists such as The Beatles, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, Adele and Joni Mitchell, Rudel imparts an inviting conversational atmosphere that leaves the audience hanging onto every word. The rising singer-songwriter explains his approach to performing cover songs: “It’s all about the story. Great songs pair music and words in such a way that the song tells the story more vividly and convincingly than just words alone could convey.”
A classically trained pianist and vocalist, Boston-based singer songwriter Chris Rudel has released two studio albums, Brave New World (2018) and Dangerous Paradise (2019), the latter title partly inspiring the name of this tour.
