Community Yoga Class for Every-body

Join certified yoga instructor Stacey Lubets for a chair-based yoga class for adults of all ages, sizes and abilities. Participants will learn and practice simple yoga exercises and breathing techniques in a way that is safe, easy and gentle for all bodies. Yoga poses will be done seated in chairs and/or using chairs for support while standing and balancing. Participants will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed.
All are welcome ~ come as you are! No prior experience required. Beginning and experienced students are welcome. Please dress comfortably and plan to practice on a relatively empty stomach. Participants will receive handouts to practice at home.
Stacey Lubets is an ERYT-500 Certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Alliance Educator (YA-CEP). She has received specialized training in Chair Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Y12SR (Yoga for Addiction Recovery), Curvy Yoga, Yoga for Eating Disorders, and Yoga Therapy for Emotional Health. Stacey’s caring and compassionate approach encourages students to honor their inner wisdom and to feel and move their bodies without judgment. In addition to teaching local yoga classes and workshops, Stacey created and developed a chair yoga teacher training certification program and offers chair yoga training workshops to yoga teachers and wellness professionals across the country.
