Salem State Summer Orchestra presents a free concert on August 3 in the university’s Recital Hall. The program features the “Nabucco Overture” and “The Four Seasons” from Les vêpres siciliennes by Giuseppe Verdi and “Invitation to the Dance”, originally a piano piece by Carl Maria von Weber., orchestrated in 1841 by French composer Hector Berlioz. Mary-Jo Grenfell conducts.

The Recital Hall is located at 71 Loring Avenue on the ground floor of the Classroom Building. Parking is available across the street.
