There is a two night minimum for weekend stays (Friday + Saturday or Saturday + Sunday) in October. During the week, however, we welcome guests who may be looking for a shorter visit. A non-refundable deposit representing one night of your stay is required for all reservations in September or October. Should you need to cancel your reservation, this deposit will be forfeited and kept by the Hawthorne Hotel as a cancellation fee.

The Halloween Ball will take place on Saturday, October 25. In order to stay at the Hawthorne the night of the Ball, you must book the full three night package. There is no breaking up the package into smaller reservations. Tickets to the Ball are included with your room reservation. Please remember that the Ball is 21+ under-aged guests are not allowed in any public space of the hotel during the event. If traveling with children, a sitter booked by you must be registered at the front desk prior to the start of the Ball. This weekend is SOLD OUT. 

The Hawthorne’s Halloween Ball is Saturday, October 25, 2025. Tickets for those not getting the hotel package (which includes tickets) will go on sale via Eventbrite.com on June 1, 2025.

The 2025 Halloween Night Package includes TWO (2) NIGHTS and is SOLD OUT!

All reservations must be made through the 2025 Halloween Night Package Reservation Form, available here. Halloween Night reservations are only accepted via the Reservation Form, which can be emailed to the address provided on January 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Reservation forms received prior to this date and time will not be considered. A credit card is required with your submission; all guests are charged a $300 non-refundable deposit at the time the Halloween Night Package reservation is made, which then guarantees your room. You will not be charged if space is not available. The $300 deposit will not be refunded for cancellations made after booking.

Note: The Witches Ball, hosted by the Festival of the Dead, will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025. These tickets must be purchased directly from Festival of the Dead and are not included in the Hawthorne Halloween rooms package.
